This is one of the most picturesque Verses in all of the Bible, to me anyway.

“The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, AND THE CLOUDS ARE THE DUST OF HIS FEET.” Again, Nahum 1:3.

We had weather, severe weather, here last night. Where I am preaching Revival this week. (In Illinois, perhaps still southern Illinois?)

Clouds, dark and foreboding, from horizon to horizon, west to east.

Clouds with noise (thunder) and hurling powerful bolts of lightning!

And yet, conversely, even on a fair-weather day, the clouds can put on quite a display of beauty.

All shapes and intensities and speeds, just “water vapor” the scientists say. But not the theologians! Nor the Bible poets either!

Yes … THE DUST OF HIS FEET!

That’s what they are to me.

God, my God, my Saviour is the very Creator of those clouds.

And just like He walked on the water, in a storm nonetheless … so can He (and does He) walk on the winds in equally intense storms! Leaving “dust” behind!

Learn to see the Lord in His creation!

And today or tonight, start with the clouds.

Yes, clouds are beautiful by moonlight too.

Our video Bible Class (just over 4 years old now) is currently focusing on the Book of Nehemiah. We are approaching Chapter 3 of the Memoirs of Nehemiah.

There the 10 Gaes of Jerusalem are delineated … and as I teach the Chapter a spiritual truth (or principle) will be highlighted for each of those Gates.

This is exciting (not to mention practical) material. The first “Chapter 3” lesson begins next week …

Week after week, Glory to God, we have the privilege of preaching in Revival Services. Verse-by-Verse Bible preaching in fact!

God always honors His Word! “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” So God promised in Isaiah 55:11.

Still, a vital part of our Ministry over the past four years has been the video “Evening Meditation” Bible Classes as well.

The rest of the time is invested in our video Bible Studies. We are currently concentrating on the Epistle of 2nd Peter.
